Jonathan Mann Fellowships are available for fourth-year students to spend an elective month abroad. Preference is given for rotations of longer duration and those that specifically relate to international health.
In 2017, the FIHTM Committee awarded 12 J. Manns. The fellowship stipends are in the range of $2400-$2600, although the number changes year-to-year based on funding and the number of applicants. Just as with the SOAP fellowship, students are not eligible for the Jonathan Mann Fellowship if the country in which they wish to do their rotation is on the US State Department’s travel warnings list.
