Promoting student engagement in global health in St. Louis and abroad.

WUSM Global Health and Medicine (originally the Forum for International Health and Tropical Medicine) was founded in 1999 as a student-led group devoted to promoting the understanding of global health in the medical community and to providing medical students with opportunities to work abroad.

Our expanding network of international faculty, array of different programs, and extensive funding enables our students to broaden their perspectives as future physicians by participating in research and health care in other parts of the United States and around the world.
